Our firm’s practice is to file a lawsuit when it needs to be filed. And what that means is if it gives us leverage against the insurance company to get them to do the right thing in relation to your claim, then we’ve done that very early on in the process. And I’m talking within a month of a collision or sooner. And then in other cases where it makes sense to allow our clients to move through the process of healing and getting better, demonstrating their damages, we’ll wait to file a lawsuit. The goal is to resolve all of our clients’ cases without the need to file a lawsuit because we’re sensitive to the amount of time and the stress that it can cause in our clients’ lives going through that process. So it’s not a decision we make lightly and it’s a decision that we make together with our clients.
